Welcome to Huron Gastro’s Internet portal for referring physicians and their staff. This site was developed in order to make referrals and communication with our practice as convenient as possible. We hope to significantly enhance our service to you and make our office a virtual extension of yours.

Three Referral Options

Online Referrals:  Huron Gastro offers an internet-based referral feature by way of a secure portal. You may use this online portal to request a physician consultation as well as any of the endoscopic procedures offered by our practice.

New Referral Platform - MiHIN Referral Plus
Referral Plus is a secure system that is used for sending and receiving referrals throughout the state of Michigan. The application is user-friendly and functions similarly to the Outlook email platform. We found that this platform has many more benefits than Medfusion or Epic Care Link. The application is a true bi-directional electronic platform which supports efficient care coordination workflows and meets the expectations of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Patient Centered Medical Home capabilities.

Telephone Referrals: Our scheduling personnel will be happy to make appointment requests via telephone. Just call our office with patients’ name, contact and insurance information, and the desired service to be performed, (office consultation or procedure). Then fax your patient's pertinent medical records to (734) 712-2820.

Fax Referrals:  You may also fax over your request by printing the form below, completing it entirely, and then faxing it and your patient's medical records to (734) 712-2820. We will contact your patient to schedule his or her appointment and let you know when that appointment is scheduled.
