Welcome to Huron Gastro’s Internet portal for referring physicians and their staff. This site was developed in order to make referrals and communication with our practice as convenient as possible.

In order to make the referral process as easy and convenient as possible, we offer three methods below from which to choose. We understand that your time is important. That is why we recommend the most convenient method and that is the referring physician portal.

Online Referrals:  Huron Gastro offers an internet-based referral feature by way of a secure portal. You may use this online portal to request a physician consultation as well as any of the endoscopic procedures offered by our practice. Each referring physician (or practice) is assigned a unique user ID and password to access this portal which is hosted by Intuit Healthcare. This is a secure application designed to allow the transfer of your patient’s protected personal health information from one physician’s office to another. Once you have logged in, you will be able to refer patients for appointments and check the status of those requests. You will also be able to attach any pertinent patient information electronically through the portal. To obtain a login to this portal, and if you are an existing Intuit Healthcare client please contact support@medfusion.net and request that they activate your referral portal access. If you are not an existing Intuit Healthcare client, and are a member of Huron Valley Physician, Associates, please contact robertsd@hvpa.com for more information about the Intuit Healthcare portal. We hope to significantly enhance our service to you and make our office a virtual extension of yours.

Telephone Referrals: Our scheduling personnel will be happy to make appointment requests via telephone. Just call our office with the patients name, contact and insurance information, and the desired service to be performed, (office consultation or procedure). Our contact information can be found on our locations page. Faxing pertinent patient records to us at the time that the appointment is made would be greatly appreciated.

Fax Referrals:  You may also fax over your request by printing the form below. Please complete it in its entirety and fax along with patient records to our office. We will contact patient and schedule appointment and communicate with you when the patient is scheduled.
